Purpose Economy

Market forces, free market, profit maximization are not only outdated concepts, they also distort the facts. They are curses in the economic system of the economy of meaning.

 

Continuity remains a key word in the strategy of most organizations. The meaning economy uses the word ‘strategy’ purely, so what ‘strategy’ really stands for. It is the development process of the organization. A process that the organization runs in order to achieve its desired position in the market, society, with customers in order to optimally meet their needs. Working together in this way is in mutual interest. In this way, both customers and an organization get satisfaction. That leads to making money. How to actually put this into practice. In the meaning economy, things are really different. In purpose economy it is really about the other person, the customer, society, the market. So it’s not about self-interest, but about profit maximization.

The large changes that are going on in terms of climate, sustainability, etc. will radically change society, markets and customer requirements. That transition has started and is irreversible. These changes in an organization will have far-reaching consequences for the structure of on organization. People want to live and participate in the new society. Developments in society also force people to change. As a result, people will contribute to that development towards a different society and thus economy.

Now to adjust the development of organizations accordingly. That’s the challenge. I will support you in that. I want to contribute to increasing the working climate and the involvement of the people who work there towards the organization through cochin-approach. I believe that giving meaning and purpose for both the people who work and the goals of the organization are the key to this. I want to stimulate and do this through a focused approach to organizational development in which the organization gradually becomes a participant in a Purpose Economy.

During the sessions to realize this organizational development, you will see me doing the following in teams:

>  Using presentations to make people aware of what it means to achieve results in a dignified manner;

>  Provide training in the field of management and work in which human dignity:

>  starting point of the process – the basis of the process – starting point and precondition is of the process.

>  By promoting human dignity in work, contributing to the creation of an economy of meaning

>  Introducing business models that contribute to improving the world and to actually apply those models in business operations

>  Carry out projects in order to stimulate a breakthrough in doing business and management and doing work with the perspective of “human dignity”. In particular, I focus on issues that concern people in organizations. I particularly mention the following projects;

Many organizations have a strategy note that is usually in the bottom drawer (95%). Now rewrite them and take them up with Cochin-Approach and put them into practice. The aim is to ensure that the organization is always (i.e. agile) capable of realizing its significance to the environment. This then in accordance with its goals and promises and will continue to meet the expectations of customers.
